Birthday and Anniversary Congratulatory Letter


Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is pleased to send messages to Antiguans and Barbudans on reaching 100 years, as well as to couples on their 60th anniversary.

  • 4.1. In order to receive such messages, requests should be sent to the Governor-General and must include the following:
    • 4.1.1. Full name(s) of the person(s) to whom the message is to be sent
    • 4.1.2. Full address at which the message is to be delivered, whether home or otherwise
    • 4.1.3. Date and place of birth or marriage, accompanied by a copy of the birth certificate in the case of centenarians to verify name and age
    • 4.1.4. For the 60th wedding anniversaries, both the birth certificate and marriage certificate are to be submitted
    • 4.1.5. The bio-page of the passport may be used as proof of age in cases where the birth certificate is not available
    • The audiences among which the message will be circulated
    • The final date by which you would wish to have the Congratulatory Message returned
  • 4.2. Requests are to be addressed to the Governor-General whose office will forward them to Her Majesty The Queen. It is recommended that these requests be submitted by post or email at least six weeks in advance of the date of the celebration.
